Steph Rochester Photography
My work is mainly portraiture, using a number of studio lighting techniques. I also photograph fashion and styling, location work, and enjoy photographing weddings both as the main photographer and a photographer's assistant.
I have recently graduated from Newcastle College with a BA Hons in Creative Practice; specialising in Photography. I am Morpeth based, and complete work in the surrounding area.
My current body of work is looking at the cinematic era of 1940's; incorporating the female icon or 'Femme Fatale'. This involves highly styled, fashion based imagery using the dark atmosphere of Film Noir. Keep checking back, I'm updating all galleries as I work. Imagery is now displayed from my show 'High Society' which took place in May, and also from the AOP gallery in London where my work featured in the final selection of Student Photographer of the year competition 2008.
